“My mind is bad neighborhood I try not to go into alone.”
-Ann Lamott, Operating Instructions
Although meditation is a practice that usually involves quiet and solitude, you don’t have to do it alone. We’ll offer introductory classes as well as community “open sit” hours for you to drop in and practice when it’s convenient for you.
Meditation isn’t just about sitting still.
There are many ways to meditate, and we’ll be offering classes to explore them. We’re open to beginners and practitioners alike: Retreat Week is about finding new ways to calm the mind, find the breath, and get in touch with our bodies.
